Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
The Water Engineer will work on water treatment plants ensuring potable water is readily available.
Key responsibilities:
+ Management of water systems
+ Develop water resources and raw water master plan that includes financial, technical and regulatory factors
+ Conduct evaluations and studies for water projects by analyzing data
+ Study and evaluate hydrological factors that can impact current and future water programs
+ Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
+ Must be a licensed Engineer with specialization in hydrology and water resources
+ At least 5 years of water treatment plant design and construction experience
+ Highly knowledgeable on water treatment process and US safe drinking water act and OEBGD (Overseas Environmental Baseline Guidance Document) criteria
+ Willing to go to different project sites
+ Able to drive and with a driver’s license
