The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing. **Role Description:** The Supplier Relations Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the relationships with our suppliers to ensure timely delivery, and quality of products and services. The ideal candidate will have experience in supplier management, negotiation, and contract management **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to include, identify, vetting, and setups. + Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and terms. + Monitors supplier performance to ensure quality products and services are delivered. + Work with cross functional teams to identify and resolve supplier-related issues. + Manage supplier related risks and develop contingency plans based on current trends and best practices in supplier management. + Analyze supplier performance data to identify tendencies and areas for improvement. + Develop and maintain supplier scorecards to track performance and optimize the effectiveness of the team. + Serves as back up to review requisitions and place purchase orders in conformance with established policies and procedures. + Acts as a specialist in the planning and execution of instructional and/or research assignments. + Conducts assessments, develops instructional and training material. + Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives. + Skill to design and implement effective training and development. Qualifications: + High School diploma or equivalent. + 10 years of experience in supplier management, procurement, or a related field. + 8 years of aviation or technical procurement experience. + Strong negotiation and contract management skills. + Supply Chain Cycle Experience. + Ability to Research and Detect Industry Patterns. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and in a team environment. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and supplier management software. + Knowledge of supply chain management best practices and industry trends. + Must possess a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or other applicable clearance certification, as required for the position, prior to hire. + Effective communication skills in English. **Compensation and Benefits:** + Salaried Position. + 9/80 schedule: Work schedule 40 hours. + Competitive salary. + Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage. + 401(k) retirement plan with company match. + Generous paid time off program. + Professional development and career advancement opportunities.
