This position is posted in multiple POWER office locations with the ability to work remotely from a mutually acceptable location (please note in the application questions where you prefer to be located). **Roles and Responsibilities** This individual will be responsible for interfacing with other engineers in the preparation of computer-based models and performing power system studies on utility transmission/distribution systems and industrial/commercial electrical power systems, including: feasibility studies, system impact studies, reactive compensation studies, protective relay settings, critical clearing time, stability (transient & dynamic), long/short range planning studies, short circuit, load flow, motor starting, power factor correction, and other related studies. This person must be able to self-manage, with a strong conceptualization ability and strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills – including the capability to explain complex technical issues to decision-makers and project teams. **Required Education/Experience** + Requires a BSEE + Two (2) + years of experience in electrical engineering system studies + Excellent written and verbal English communication skills including proposal writing, report writing, and other technical writing + Experience with PSSE, PSLF, or other equivalent software packages + Experience with TARA steady-state preferred + Willing to travel (10% or more at times) + Ability to work successfully in a customer-focused, project-oriented environment **Desired Education/Experience** + EIT registration (or equivalent) + MSEE + EMT software experience is a plus At POWER Engineers, you can have a rewarding career on every level.
