Telemetry System Engineer Location: Orlando, FL Job ID: #70093 Pay Range: $68.40-80.48 ph (W2) Job Description Telemetry and Flight Termination System (TM/FTS) Engineer to support missile production and development. -Primary responsibility will be to provide TM/FTS supplier component technical oversight to support ongoing qualification and/or lot acceptance tests and production deliveries. -Candidate will be responsible for communicating status and issues as well as recommendations to program. -Travel to supplier, production, and/or test locations will be required on an as needed basis. Required Experience: - At least 4+ years of prior experience working with TM/FTS systems, RCC-319 and Test Range Safety organizations. -4-6 years of Electronic Testing experience is required. - 4-6 years of Mechanical Testing experience is required. -The role includes elements of requirements, design, analysis, integration, test, reviews, and safety coordination. -Candidate needs to be a self-starter and have the capability of determining one’s own tasking based on input from program. DESIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: -The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience to manage external suppliers with a focus on requirements verification, technical performance, and schedule. -Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills to all management/junior levels is desired. -Demonstrated experience presenting at program/design reviews, technical reviews, and safety reviews is desired. Source program is missile launched from airborne military platforms. Active Secret Clearance required to start.
