Systems Engineer

Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking for an IT Systems Engineer to join their team in Melbourne, FL. The Engineer will manage enterprise-grade storage and server environments within the programs portfolio. Additional responsibilities include: Maintain and optimize enterprise-grade storage solutions, with a focus on NetApp, and manage robust server infrastructures using VMware coupled with Cisco UCS-X and Dell servers. Monitor storage and server performance to ensure optimal operation and system resilience. Conduct routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Utilize Network Management Systems (NMS) like Zabbix and Grafana for system monitoring. Perform capacity planning for storage and server resources to meet future scalability needs. Develop Python scripts and utilize APIs for system automation and integration, improving operational efficiency. Support the administration of Linux and Windows systems.
