The position involves performing pipe stress analysis using AutoPipe in accordance with ASME B31.3 Code, collaborating with engineering teams to ensure quality design, and supporting construction during project transitions. location: Kennedy Space Center, Florida job type: Contract salary: $48.96 - 73.44 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: + Perform pipe stress analysis of systems in accordance with ASME B31.3 Code using AutoPipe. + Model piping systems to verify flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads. + Collaborate closely with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to ensure quality and cost-effective design. + Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required. + Support construction teams during project transitions from engineering to implementation. Desired Skills: + Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other relevant piping codes and standards. + Recent hands-on experience with AutoPipe for pipe stress analysis. + Professional Engineer (PE) registration. + Previous experience with company projects and/or NASA. + Experience in dynamic analysis and AutoPipe.
