This role involves executing daily accounting processes and transactions in support of the Controller. The ideal candidate will manage direct reports, conduct detailed reviews of team deliverables, and work in a deadline-driven environment. Role and Responsibilities To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following competencies: - Document financial transactions in the general ledger. - Drive the preparation of financial statements. - Review financial transactions and ensure adequate work-papers. - Provide guidance for improving work-papers and procedures. - Analyze financial discrepancies and verify entries. - Produce error-free accounting reports with robust supporting documentation. - Recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures. - Support the month-end and year-end close processes. - Develop and document business processes to strengthen internal controls. - Communicate effectively with regulators as needed. - Foster strong client relationships through positive interactions. ### Work Environment Our office environment is**fast-paced and collaborative**.
