Actively looking to hire a Senior Payroll Manager! Must sit within 60 miles of Orlando FL due to in office meetings. This is a remote role! Job Description + Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages, salaries, and benefits to all employees. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements. + Lead, mentor, and develop a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth. + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction. + Prepare and analyze payroll reports for management, including labor cost analysis, overtime, and other key metrics. + Coordinate and manage internal and external payroll audits, ensuring all documentation and processes are in compliance. + Oversee the payroll system, ensuring it is up-to-date, secure, and integrated with other HR and financial systems. + Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees in a timely and professional manner. + Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and alignment with organizational objectives. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. + Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred. + Minimum of 7-10 years of payroll experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting. + Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, excellent leadership and team management skills, proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Peoplesoft), and advanced Excel skills. + Attributes: Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
