The **Senior Global Deal Strategy Analyst** is a critical member of the Commercial team and serves as a trusted advisor to the Sales team on deal structures, advises the team on alternative terms and contract options, and or value propositioning to help drive deal closure. This role will provide analysis and support to the sales team in the form of pricing, discounts, contract terms, and product availability. Additionally, this role works with the sales team to ensure that all opportunities are maximized and that a convincing proposition is presented to the customer. In addition, they work with other departments within the company to ensure that all deals are structured correctly and that all approvals are in place. Focuses on minimizing sales cycle times while optimizing revenue, profitability, and/or market share based on business priorities. This role will work closely with Revenue Planning, Sales, Real Estate, and Operations teams to support key business initiatives. • Model deal requests and provide insights to improve the deal structure and sales strategy, optimizing ROI • Develop rigorous, fact-based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations • Update key terms on quotes and review them to ensure accuracy • Develop clear and concise executive-level communications • Pull data from a variety of internal databases to support deal structure • Ensure that all transactions adhere to internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines • Drive best practices to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness via deal reviews, early checkpoints, and enforcement of deal terms and customer commitments. • Ensures contract terms and pricing are communicated to Pricing, Legal, and Operations teams and set up correctly in internal systems • Provide recommendations on pricing based on guidelines developed by Revenue Management. • Work with sales, finance, legal, and other teams to streamline the deal process and build strong working relationships. • Review and approve sales deals and pricing requests and manage the end-to-end deal review process. • Support complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial and legal agreements. • Maintain and update deal desk documentation and training materials and deliver relevant training to new and existing Sales reps on Deal Desk methodologies. + Experience in managing or analyzing complex deals, pricing structures, and commercial terms + Strong quantitative and financial analysis skills to assess deal profitability and risks + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, financial models) and familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. + SQL and/or R programming experience + Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with executives and cross-functional teams + Ability to present complex concepts to Sales, Leadership, and customers + Proactive in identifying issues and offering creative solutions to enhance deal strategy and execution + Ability to support sales teams in negotiations and decision-making processes with clients + Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies + Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or protected veteran status.
