Remote Eligibility Specialist

+ Clearing the backlog and completing new eligibility tasks on an ongoing basis + Cases requiring escalation will be sent for review + Will process tasks in a first in first out fashion for all eligibility worker queues + Staff will process all open eligibility tasks on a case, not just the task chosen in a queue + Review healthcare benefit enrollment applications and forms + Review documents using the DOH eDatabases for verification of information + Evaluate applications and determine next steps for eligibility + Currently expected to complete 10 cases per day with 90% QC Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma + Experience with social services programs is preferred + Accurate data entry skills + Strong interpersonal skills + Ability to build positive relationships among clients, program, and State + Attention-to-detail + Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills + Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment + Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously + Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently; proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Word and Excel + Must have own equipment (Computer, monitor, headset, ethernet) + 100% Remote + Training Schedule/Duration: Mon – Fri 8:00 am- 5:00 pm CST / 15 Days (Agents are required to be on camera during training. Will provide cameras if candidate doesn't have one). + Hours of Operation: Mon – Fri 8:00 am- 4:30 pm CST + Requires a USB plug and play wired headset with a microphone and noise suppression + Requires Computer Operating System: Windows10 or MacOS Catalina (10.15), MacOS Big Sur (11), MacOS (up to 12.5) or newer + $20 per hour About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
