**Description** SAIC seeks an experienced and energetic Principal DevSecOps Engineer / Project Manager to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Digital Transformation and Maintenance Modernization (DTAMM) program. The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. This position is located in Cape Canaveral, Florida. **Job Description:** + Design and develop build tools and framework to support continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) automated build pipeline. + Configure Git/Bitbucket code repositories. + Configure CI server and Nexus artifact repository. + Configure SonarQube and/or fortify static code analysis tools. + Work with developers regarding static analysis results, remediation, and disposition reports. + Further automate the build, distribution, and archival processes. + Work with IT to ensure infrastructure and assist in maintain System Security Plans. + Improve our release and Configuration Management (CM) processes. + Develop release notes and installation instructions for releases. + Work with team across multiple companies. + In support of the government program office, the Project Manager is principally responsible for exceptional accomplishment of assigned Technical Direction Letters (TDLs) including all aspects of project execution (cost, schedule, performance, and technical requirements). + The PM is the program’s “face-to-the-customer,” responding to direction, negotiating project issues, team management, integration management, and successful completion of all project activities. + Leads a multi-functional team of mission, hardware and software engineering, sustainment, training, logistics, security (including cyber) and support specialists responsible for overall system operational availability. **Qualifications** **Required Education:** + Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience **Desired Education:** + Bachelor’s degree and nine (9) years or more experience; Master’s degree and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. **Required Experience:** + Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. + Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. + Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo). + Experience with the following technologies: Jenkins, Tekton, SonarQube and/or Fortify, and JaCoCo. + Use Cloud based tool stacks (e.g. VSCode, Jira, Confluence, Git, Docker, K8’s, Istio, AWS, etc.) for development. + 5+ years managing teams/projects acquiring, maintaining, and sustaining integrated solutions for mission-critical applications. + Experience managing large-scale modernization projects, to include cost estimating and management, schedule development, performance monitoring and reporting. + Experience delivering multiple simultaneous modernization initiatives. + Experience managing large-scale Agile or DevSecOps teams/projects, to include support to backlog grooming, cost estimating, baseline and risk management, schedule development, performance monitoring and reporting. + Experience leading waterfall to Agile transformations, designed to deliver Minimum Viable Products in a consistent cadence. + Experience managing Digital and Model-based Systems Engineering efforts. + Demonstrated proficiency in communicating with customers to fully understand operational requirements; and in translating those requirements into project plans and performance measures. + Familiarity with mission-critical, data network operations, maintenance, and sustainment. + Current relevant project management certification – Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Institute Project Management Professional® (PMP) or Program Management Professional® (PgMP) Certification **Desired Experience:** + Experience in large Government systems acquisition + Thorough understanding of space systems design, integration and test requirements and test execution, including test equipment support. **Clearance:** + Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
