Titan Florida has an excellent opportunity for a Ready Mix Reliability Inspector in the Central Florida Area. Role can be located within the Tampa, Orlando, or Daytona area of Florida. This salaried non-exempt position (eligible for overtime) will report directly to the Director of Ready Mix Operations. The Reliability Inspector will safely implement maintenance inspection plans as well as inspection techniques in order to detect failure modes in progress, monitor and record wear rates, triggering preventive actions and preventing unnecessary and unplanned stoppages. Ready Mix Reliability Inspector responsibilities include: + Implementation and integration of all the general and specific safety procedures and instructions within all the inspection activities. + Implementation of all the general and specific environmental procedures and instructions. + Participation in reported safety and environmental incidents, accidents or injuries investigation process. + Approve the safety risk assessment for all the inspection activities. + Supporting and sharing company values. + Implementation of company polices, standards and procedures. + Enabling continuous operation of the mechanical plant equipment. + Prepare and approve the inspections master plan (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th level of inspections included). + Schedule and plan all the equipment inspection activities. + Approve and coordinate all the inspection plans. + Perform risk analysis study to identify plant critical equipment thus define the strategy to cope with the risk. + Participation in the RCA process for the major equipment failure. + Departmental costs control. + Inspection section personnel trainings and development. + Creating a motivation climate for employees. + Creating a continuous improvement culture by cross functional approach and understanding of the plant operations (considering process, quality and production aspects) thus develop new or improve the existing inspection ruts. + Liaise with maintenance department and production planning. + Preparation and submitting departmental activities reports. + Effective communication and interaction with the service providers and suppliers. Qualifications: + High School Diploma/Technical Industrial High School (Mechanical/Electrical) + 4-year experience in related field and cement industry + Excellent math and computer skills. + Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Skills & Competencies: + Good knowledge of measurement taking and equipment condition tracking + Usage of measuring tools (calibers, vibration, temperature monitoring tools, filler gauge etc) + Equipment condition assessment + Understanding of basic concepts related to Mechanical/Electrical equipment, sufficient to operate effectively and without frequent supervision + Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals Titan Florida is a wholly owned subsidiary of Titan America LLC, a leading environmentally and socially progressive heavy building materials company located in the eastern United States.
