Job Title: Quality Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Quality Engineer to provide expert technical guidance and ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and codes for our facilities. This role involves performing inspections, audits, and analyses, as well as reviewing hazard analyses and design documentation. The successful candidate will document issues, create mitigation plans, and develop compliance-related processes while ensuring proper training and documentation. Responsibilities + Provide expert technical guidance to ensure facilities comply with regulations, standards, and codes. + Perform inspections, audits, and analysis of island and shipside facilities. + Review hazard analyses and design documentation for compliance. + Document facilities-related issues and create mitigation and sustainment plans. + Ensure maintenance procedures are clearly documented and trained. + Develop, update, or modify facilities documentation and compliance-related processes. + Identify and assess safety critical processes. + Implement training, assessment, and audit activities for safety critical processes. + Clearly communicate progress and provide regular updates. + Encourage team members, peers, and partners to model safe behaviors at all times. + Work with the Performance Alignment team to establish, follow, or modify a framework for documentation, training, and auditing. Essential Skills + Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Facilities Engineering with increasing responsibility. + Engineer in Training (EIT) or equivalent state certification/license. + Experience with design, installation, and commissioning of facilities meeting regulatory and industrial standards. + Proven knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. + Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex data concisely. + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a cross-functional team. + Strong attention to detail. + High degree of self-motivation and initiative with the ability to multi-task. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with industry regulatory, compliance standards, and processes. + Florida Professional Engineer’s License. + American Society for Quality Certification. + Experience with the Performance Alignment model. + Previous experience with the cruise line industry and maritime standards. + Proficiency with DCL SMS and AMOS. Work Environment This role requires participation in occasional 2nd and 3rd shift work or off-site work. The work schedule is in-office Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $47.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
