The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing. **Role Description:** Responsible for maintaining the Quality Control Program at the site level in support of assigned aircraft and support equipment. Inspect, remove, install, repair, replace, modify, disassemble, reassemble, and calibrate complex aircraft mechanical and electromechanical systems in accordance with maintenance manuals, test procedures and other military publications. **Key Responsibilities:** + Reviews aircraft forms and records related IAW contract requirements. + Perform the receiving, in-process, final quality, flight safety inspections and functional operational tests during organizational, intermediate and depot level maintenance, modification and repair of military tactical aircraft systems or associated components. + Perform analysis of defects and interpret quality control rejection and failure trends to provide creative solutions for improvement. + Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies and applicable laws. + Promotes a positive safety culture within the Quality Control department. + Perform daily work site Safety Inspections and Foreign Object Damage Inspections as assigned. + Perform additional duties as assigned. + \#LI-MZ1 Qualifications: **Required:** + High School Diploma or GED. + FAA Airframe and Powerplant License. + Minimum 10 years of experience of which 8 must be specialized in supporting an aviation aerospace program. + A thorough working knowledge of TO military specifications is essential. + Leadership experience. + Previous Quality Control experience on rotary aircraft: H-60 + Ability to travel to CONUS and/or OCONUS locations to provide field support as assigned. + Overtime and weekend opportunities due to the nature of the work. **Preferred:** + A.A. A.S or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. + FAA Inspection Authorization a plus. + Experience in customer support. + Technical writing and or editing experience. + Ability to maintain strong customer relationships. + Knowledge of Army Regulations 95-1, DA PAM 738-750 751, FM 3-04-500 CH.8 QC or Air Force Technical Orders System. + Familiar with CFR Part 43, 91, 121, 135, 145 Quality or Inspection experience previous RII Required Inspection Items authorization. **Compensation and Benefits:** + Hourly Position + Competitive salary + Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage. + 401(k) retirement plan with company match. + Professional development and career advancement opportunities AAR is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
