DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Coordinator Duties: + Experience supporting U.S. Government based contracts operations leadership team. + Ability to perform work under minimal supervision. + Ability to handle moderately complex issues, problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. + Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite. + Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to interact at all levels of management. + Candidate must be able to prioritize work activities and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment. + Ensure deliverables & reports are in compliance with specification & time schedules. + Gather and consolidate team member inputs for monthly status reports. + Assisting new employees with orientation and answering questions related to internal processes and procedures, expense reports, and timekeeping. + Establish and coordinate first day instructions for new employees. + Provide data entry and document upload to appropriate databases. + Answers and handles incoming and outgoing telephone calls. + Conducts document handling (mailing, faxing, scanning, filing, copying, printing, and distributing). Assistant Facility Security Officer Duties: + Coordinate personnel security clearance requirements and investigations for DoD, DHA, DOE, VA, and other government agencies. + Responsible for implementing the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). + Utilize DISS, SWFT, SIMS, DCSA, and other government programs, as required. + Deliver required security awareness training to uncleared personnel. + Deliver required security awareness training to cleared personnel in accordance with government regulations. + Conduct security in-briefing for all new hires and consultants. + Initiate and submit fingerprints for those needing a security clearance. + Utilize the access control system to generate badges for employees, visitors, and consultants. + Conduct foreign travel briefing/debriefing for all cleared staff engaging in foreign travel. + Administer visitor authorization letters and visitor authorization request. + Maintain all security documentation and file accurately and in accordance with company and government policy. + Utilizes and protects Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and other sensitive information as required. + Assists employees with the completion of security clearance paperwork and visit requests. + Assist with security self-inspection and monthly security reports. REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: + Bachelors’ Degree. + Be FSO certified or obtain a current FSO certification within six (6) months of hiring. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: + Minimum of 2 years of related experience desired + Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills required. + Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the company and external, as needed. + Must be a person of integrity with a high degree of competency. + Additional duties may be required. + Occasional travel may be required.
