**Press Brake Operator** **Job Description** Press Brake Operator needed. Will be bending and forming metal sheets based on exact specifications from blueprints/schematics. Select proper tools and dies based on material thickness and type. Setup tooling, load programs, and set up machine parameters (programming experience is a plus). Use measurement equipment to verify work (must have caliper experience, will also use micrometers, gauges, and protractors to check the angle of bends). Heavy quality inspection/assurance after the first piece is made (potentially make adjustments to programs). Ensure product is continuously meeting dimension specifications based on drawings. Track parts/jobs in the SAP system. Basic housekeeping responsibilities - keeping the area clean. Could be asked to operate other basic machinery around the shop. Work to standard and precision fabrication tolerances - bend angles/flange lengths.
