The Pipe Support Designer is responsible for locating and designing supports for piping systems, performing calculations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with various engineering disciplines in a 3D modeling environment. location: Kennedy Space Center, Florida job type: Contract salary: $48.96 - 73.44 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: + Locate and design supports for piping systems. + Perform calculations related to pipe supports. + Apply common pipe support hardware and industry standards. + Ensure compliance with relevant codes (AISC, ASME B31.3). + Collaborate with layout personnel and pipe stress engineers. + Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors. + Work in a 3D modeling environment for design development. Skills: + Knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 and relevant industry codes. + Experience using structural analysis programs.
