**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **NDT Level ll Inspectors, RT** for projects located in the **Newport News, VA area** . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate **up to $38/hour** based on experience **plus $120/day per diem** for Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site. If you are a Radiography testing Inspector eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career! **Job Scope:** + Perform inspections to ensure the integrity and safety of materials and structures + Conduct NDT, RT and UT inspections per industry standards + Interpret and evaluate test results + Prepare inspection reports and documentation + Collaborate with team members to ensure quality assurance + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies **Requirements** + Experience in Radiographic Testing (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) + Minimum of 4 years of documented continuous experience performing inspections in PT, MT, and VT OR RT and UT methods within the past 9 months + Current certification as Level II in PT, MT, VT or UT and RT methods per ASNT SNT-TC-1A 2001 Edition or later + Successful completion of written general theory and procedure-specific examinations + Proven ability to operate NDT equipment, record results, and analyze information + Valid vision acuity exam results using Jaeger 1 letters at a distance of not less than 12 inches within the last year + Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to the shipbuilding industry **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
