All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Per Diem (As Needed) **Shift** : Days **The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth New Smyrna** _401 PALMETTO ST, New Smyrna Beach, 32168_ **The role you’ll contribute:** Performs CT and MRI imaging procedures. Assist Radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies. Maintains records of examinations performed. Obtains and documents patient clinical history. Performs darkroom, clerical and transport functions. Participates in standby call. Performs basic patient care with scope of practice and to departmental standards. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** + Performs CT and MRI imaging procedures. + Maintains records of examinations performed. + Obtains and documents patient clinical history and explains procedure. + Positions patients and equipment, and selects technical factors to produce procedure images and data as needed to meet radiologist standards. + Sends images to QC station and then to PACS and archives images **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:** + **Minimum qualifications** : + Two years CT/MR experience required. + Two years of CT experience is needed for entry level MRI position if no previous MRI experience. + MRI registered or one-year experience. + Licensure by the ARRT in MRI required.
