Legal Assistant

Description We are in the search for a meticulous Legal Assistant to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. In this role, you will be expected to manage detailed case files, coordinate with professionals for report generation, draft legal documents, and oversee litigation cases. This role is in the legal industry and provides an opportunity for long-term employment. Responsibilities: • Oversee detailed case management and maintain thorough case files • Collaborate with experts and witnesses for the generation of analysis reports and statements • Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements • Handle 558 claims on behalf of the company • Manage and organize litigation cases and files • Undertake business development, operational, and administrative duties as assigned • Use your skills in Audit Program to ensure all procedures and documents are accurate and compliant with legal standards. Requirements • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field • Proven experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role is required • Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite • Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently • Strong organizational and planning skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • Strong research and report writing skills • Knowledge of the Audit Program is a plus • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
