Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Junior Database Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of database architecture and be eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. This role involves assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems under the guidance of senior architects. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of database architectures. Support the implementation and maintenance of database systems. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Participate in the optimization of database performance and scalability. Ensure data integrity and security. Create and maintain detailed documentation of database designs and processes. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues with guidance from senior architects. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in database architecture. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of database architecture principles and methodologies. Familiarity with SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Knowledge of data modeling and design. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Vetting: Candidates selected are subject to a background investigation from our government client.
