Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands… As a Jr. Staff Accountant for the Global solutions division of ASSA ABLOY, you will have the opportunity to join the leading solution for securing and tracking physical keys, trusted worldwide by many of the world’s biggest organizations across nearly every sector. Reporting to the Finance Manager , you will be responsible for maintaining a general ledger and reviewing financial statements for accuracy before preparing reports that will assist senior management in making informed decisions about upcoming projects or years’ budgets. You’ll also be responsible for keeping track and recording all transactions within a company. What you will do… + Analyze inventory reconciliation at month end researching variances as needed. Support the coordination of the annual physical inventory. + Participate in the month end financial close process, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations. + Record intercompany transactions, post payments and support Inter-Group companies with reporting. + Prepare and distribute daily sales report validating to the general ledger and reconciling any differences. At month end finalize sales reporting and support the updates to the global reporting system. + Supporting budgeting & forecasting process and assist in providing financial analysis to support various departments. + Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership team members to identify their needs; seek to provide finance/accounting team support. + Maintaining the general ledger + Conducting billing processes (e.g. tax, revenue) What we expect of you… + B.S. in Accounting or similar field. + 2+ years accounting experience, with an emphasis on cost accounting, reporting, and variance analysis. + Strong Excel spreadsheet capabilities. Business Objects, HFM, and JDE proficiency preferred. + Very high attention to detail, good organizational skills, good communication skills, reacts well to time pressure, comfortable working in plant environment and is motivated to learn all aspects of the manufacturing operation. + Strong analytical skills with ability to focus on details, as necessary .
