**OUC – The** **_Reliable_** **One** , an industry leader and the second-largest municipal utility in Florida, is offering an internship program in the Trans,Substation & Sys Protect. We are looking for a **Instructional Designer Intern - Summer 2025** . During the internship, you will be involved in: + Assisting in the design and development of instructional materials, including e-learning modules, training manuals, etc. tailored for adult learners in the utility sector + Collaborating with subject matter experts to gather, analyze and develop content related to software applications and work processes + Applying instructional design theories, practice, and methods to create engaging and effective e-learning experiences and compelling course content + Developing multimedia elements, including videos, interactive simulations, voice-over scripts and quizzes, to enhance learning + Supporting the implementation of training programs and workshops **Internship Eligibility:** + Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a degree seeking programAcademic status of Junior + Program of study:Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology or related field + Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above + Authorized to work in the United States + Ability to commit to a full-time schedule between **May 19, 2025** through **August 15, 2025** **The Ideal Candidate will have:** + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Camtasia Studio) + Basic understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) + Familiarity with adult learning, e-learning and technical training principles and techniques **Learn More About the Group:** OT Projects and Planning is a business unit within OUC dedicated to planning, deploying, maintaining and supporting information technology system that are used in the day-to-day operations of OUC’s electric and water systems.
