Hydrogen Systems Engineering Lead

**A Snapshot of Your Day** In this role you will be leading a team of engineers responsible for the successful design and execution of hydrogen electrolyzer projects in North and South America. This role involves overseeing all engineering activities from research & development to design maintenance and supplier technical qualification, to project sales and execution phases. You will act as the primary interface in Orlando for the electrolyzer systems “product owner” in Siemens Energy’s HQ in Germany and foster seamless collaboration and information exchange between the design teams in the EU and the USA. You will play a pivotal role in representing the company in all technical matters, fostering innovation, and leading your team to achieve exceptional results in project delivery. **How You’ll Make anImpact** + Responsiblefor the coordination and prioritization of engineering activities acrossdesign, proposal and execution phases. + Direct,oversee and support the engineering team, ensuring high performance andcontinuous improvement in project execution. + Act asthe primary technical liaison with customers, authorities, engineeringpartners, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and resolutionof technical, contractual, and interface issues. + Foster aunified team spirit within a culturally diverse team, promoting collaborationand professional growth. + Drive designand process innovation and champion cost-out to enhance efficiency andeffectiveness and increase market share. + Supportresource planning, recruitment, and development of future engineers to sustain long-term engineering department success and team motivation. **What You Bring** + Bachelor’sdegree in engineering or related field. + Minimumof 8+ years of leadership experience in management of a multi-disciplinaryengineering team. + Comprehensiveknowledge of engineering disciplines, especially process engineering, andexpertise in engineering workflows, project execution and scheduling, andproduct development. + Knowledgeof Siemens Energy’s engineering workflows, project execution, and productdevelopment would be considered a plus. + Provenability to lead and integrate intercultural teams, with a focus on strategicdevelopment and customer orientation. Strong organizational and communicationskills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships. + Abilityto work effectively in international teams, with sensitivity to culturaldifferences. Fluency in English is required, along with a willingness to engagein international travel. + Applicants must belegally authorized for employment in the United States without need for currentor future employer-sponsored work authorization.
