Responsibilities  + Your tasks as our Global Buyer for Cables and Other Electricals will be to implement commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials. + More specific you will be contributing to the implementation and ensure usage of global defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure a high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g., compliance Purchase-to-pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems). + Some of your key responsibilities will include: + Preparing, conducting and defining negotiation strategies and concepts to obtain the highest feasible savings; implementing and supporting Commodity and Pooling strategies (based on conducted demand, market and supplier analyses) considering cost-efficient supply of materials and strategic Global Value Sourcing; + Risk and opportunity management where you will identify particular procurement risks, opportunities and market forces to avoid potential damage/ exploit potential opportunities through tailored risk management and change management; + Or continuous project evaluations and supplier management processes execution. Required Knowledge, Education, Experience and Skills  : + Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. + We are looking for you, who wants to make real what matters and who wants to change the world to renewable energy. + The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in Business Administration or Engineering or similar (an MBA would be a great asset) in combination with thorough practical and direct experience of at least 3 to 5 years in procurement. + This role requires traveling up to 25% + It is an advantage if you have experience in procurement from the renewable energy or Automotive/Electronic sector. + We are looking for someone with proficient English . Good IT skills, especially MS Office, SAP and eProcurement tools as eRfX, eAuction/eBidding are fundamental for this position. + Most importantly, you challenge yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best results. + You have a high professional competency and analytical mindset, and you have a desire to develop your skills. + You have good collaboration skills, and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. + To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach + Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
