Join us for a rewarding career in the aviation industry! **Job Description** Our Exterior Wet Wash Cleaner is responsible for the thorough cleaning of aircraft exteriors using wet wash techniques. This role involves applying cleaning solutions, scrubbing, and rinsing the aircraft surfaces to remove dirt, grime, and other contaminants, ensuring the aircraft's appearance and integrity are maintained. You must adhere to strict safety and environmental regulations, carefully handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Additionally, you are required to inspect the aircraft exterior for any damage during the cleaning process and report any issues to maintenance personnel, contributing to the overall upkeep and safety of the aircraft fleet. **WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS AN EXTERIOR WET WASH CLEANER** + You like working as a team, toward a common goal + Perform thorough wet wash cleaning of aircraft exteriors, including fuselage, wings, and tail + Use specialized equipment and cleaning agents for effective and safe aircraft cleaning + Follow specific procedures and guidelines for wet wash cleaning to ensure quality standards + Work safely at heights using ladders, scaffolds, or aerial lift platforms + Inspect the aircraft's exterior for any dirt, grease, or stains before and after cleaning + Coordinate with ground crew and maintenance teams for aircraft positioning and safety + Ensure compliance with environmental regulations regarding the use and disposal of cleaning solutions + Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies + You have a great attention to detail + You enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasks + Strong customer service skills + Like to build long term relationships with your customers + Physical activity may include: + Stand and walk for extended periods of time + Ability to lift 70 pounds or more + Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environment + Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus) **Qualifications** + Minimum age of 18 years old + Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents + 1 Year of cleaning or maintenance experience + Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets + Ability to pass a drug screen + Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable) Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
