Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an **Entry Level Procurement Analyst** to join our dynamic team in **Kennedy Space Center, Florida!** **Position Responsibilities:** + Assists in the development and deployment of internal/external process improvements, organization initiatives and projects/procurement activities. + Assists with the maintenance of processes and systems. + Utilizes procurement/planning systems to ensure planning, validation, and maintaining of all requirements for procurement analysis. + Supports the coordination and tracking of action items and metrics, supplier management procedures for planning, procurement plans, shortage mitigation, schedule validation, self-governance, and inventory analysis. **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.** **Shift Work:** **This position is for 1st shift.** **This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.** **Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:** This position must meet export control compliance requirements. **To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + 1+ years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer. + 1+ years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes. + 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. + 1+ years of experience with data analysis. **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent experience). + Experience with shortage analysis. + Experience working in a team environment. + Experience being organized with strong time-management skills. **Typical Education/Experience:** Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience). **Relocation:** Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
