All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift** : Days **The community you’ll be caring for:** AdventHealth Daytona Beach **The role you’ll contribute:** The EMS Liaison establishes, develops, and manages the relationships between hospital Emergency Department staff, hospital administration, and local/regional/state Emergency Medical Service (EMS) agencies. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Establishes overall EMS outreach including acting as a liaison and maintaining a positive relationship between the hospital and area EMS providers · Ensures hospital compliance with Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other regulatory organizations concerning EMS agencies, students, equipment and supplies · Manages EMS relationship development, implementation and marketing activities including working with Director of Business Development, Director of the Emergency Department, Cardiology and Stroke service line leaders, and Marketing to increase ER, Cardiology, and Stroke market share. · Facilitates planning process and implementation activities with hospital leadership. · Participates in other key areas that directly impact service line performance. **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:** **Minimum qualifications** : · Two years of related experience (nursing, paramedic, or business-related field) OR Five years related experience (nursing, paramedic or business-related field) · Current valid State of Florida license as an EMT, Paramedic or RN · Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification · Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification · Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification **Preferred qualifications:** · Associate degree in nursing, paramedic, or business-related field This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
