**ECLSS Engineer**
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 20 or more years of related experience.
- Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) engineering experience.
- Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with space mission requirements and standards (e.g., NASA, ESA).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in space mission support or aerospace projects.
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
**Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:**
- Experience with CAD tools and thermal simulation software.
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Master's degree in Space Systems or related technical discipline.
Cimarron is seeking an experienced part-timeEnvironmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) Engineerto support the Boeing CST-100 Starliner program at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This role will be responsible for the design, analysis, and testing of life support systems for the Starliner program.
**Duties:**
- Design, develop, and optimize life support systems for manned space environments.
- Perform analysis on air and water purification, thermal regulation, and waste management systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ECLSS with other spacecraft subsystems.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure performance under space conditions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance during simulation and operational missions.
- Provide technical documentation and support for system development and testing.
