Job Skills / Requirements
Summary/Objective Under the direction and leadership of the department head, the Director of Operations – FL Custodial has the responsibility for directing custodial operations for the Company's Florida and Georgia region to ensure client satisfaction, operational consistencies and efficiencies, workplace safety and account profitability.
Job Responsibilities:
• Overall accountability for key areas including staffing, safety, planning, budgeting, supplies and compliance
• Serve as department lead for all safety initiatives, programs, and issues in effort to reduce workplace injuries and general liability exposure
• Manage relationships among the clients and field managers and ensure that identified goals are identified and addressed in timely manner
• With the leadership team, establish the direction, goals and objectives for the department
• Support, and advance Company's overall strategic direction
• Hold regional and field managers responsible for achieving operational, financial, safety, and workplace goals.
• Oversee the various administrative responsibilities required to ensure that the facilities have an appropriate balance of controls and empowerment to operate their ongoing business
• Work with the Vice President of Operations and HR and with each field manager to ensure adequate staffing levels, payroll practices and employee training are in place for the location
• Follow the company’s accounting/finance procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility
This position is directly responsible for leading managers of the division and indirectly responsible for all employees with in the division.
This is a full-time position, and regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
This position requires significant travel.
1. Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in business administration, or related field.
2. 10 or more years of experience managing custodial operations.
3. Knowledge of custodial practices, human resources laws and regulations, and employee relations skills.
