**The Role:**

Reporting to the IT Director, the Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable policies/regulations and best practices for the companys enterprise systems.
The Ideal Candidate
- Will have experience implementing cybersecurity systems to meet regulatory requirements in a Microsoft based environment.
- Will act as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity by assisting leadership in defining, administering, and maintaining policies, processes, and systems for effective compliance management.
- Will assist with the management of data classification and protection.
- Will have experience implementing controls for NIST 800-171, CMMC, or similar frameworks.
- Be prepared to make mistakes but learn from them, be open to feedback and willing to be coached.
Key Accountabilities
- Will work closely with third party vendors supporting implementation and maintenance of deployed cybersecurity systems.
- Will integrate security products into the current environment to defend the enterprise from internal/external attacks.
- Be the principal resource during cybersecurity audits.
- Analyze alerts and remediate threats to the environment as necessary.
- Other responsibilities as assigned to support related initiatives.
Minimum Education/Experience
- Bachelors Degree, plus a minimum of 3 years direct industry experience supporting cybersecurity initiatives or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
- Working knowledge of system vulnerabilities, exploitation, and mitigation strategies.
- Technical network and/or security certifications (CISA, CISM, CCSP, CISSP, etc.) are highly desirable.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills, be self-motivated and a self-starter, maintain a curiosity and desire to learn, and be able to work well in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment.
