Let's chat and see if we are a good match! Opportunity: Virtual Service Operations is seeking a Communication Systems Engineer I to join our team at Merritt Island, FL. This is a dynamic and hands-on position that involves the design, development, testing, and installation of cutting-edge electrical communication systems, including cabling, mission imagery systems, transmission systems, and voice systems. As part of this role, you will also play a key part in System Administration for network systems under contract responsibility, ensuring seamless operation and support. Qualifications: + Design communications systems that support a wide variety of existing and future services as requested by the customer + Collaborate directly with product team members, as required, to provide a comprehensive solution to customer requests, including (but not limited to) standard work orders, real-time repair requests, and operational support requests; develop solutions to routine problems of limited scope under close supervision of engineering lead/senior engineer team members. + Develop solutions to routine problems of limited scope under close supervision of Engineering lead/senior engineer team members. + Process work documentation through prescribed processing software to provide work continuity, visibility, and tracking to the customer. Requirements + Strong understanding of Engineering principles and technologies. + Be able to obtain or already possess a Public Trust. + Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass a background investigation. + New hires assigned to this project will be required to undergo and pass drug and alcohol tests per our client's contract requirements + Must have and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License. + Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
