Position overview:
+ The role is accountable for managing crane/labor vendor onboarding, tendering, contract management, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations. This includes partnering with internal teams, negotiating contracts, and ensuring supplier qualifications meet the company's standards. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience, and a keen knowledge of project needs and compliance requirements.
+ Travel required for this role is up to 20%.
+ Relocation will not be offered for this role.
Responsibilities:
+ Contractor Onboarding & Qualification:
+ Assist local operations teams to identify and onboard new suppliers as needed.
+ Coordinates with the Supplier Qualification and Development (SQD) team to ensure that qualification requirements are met and secures necessary qualifications for both critical and non-critical services.
+ Ensures vendors are set up in procurement systems such as Ariba and SAP, and comply with all SGRE procurement standards.
+ Negotiates frame contracts and tariffs, including commercial and legal terms tailored for the specific scenario
+ Tender & Contract Management:
+ Leads the entire labor/crane contractor bidding process
+ Recommends the best procurement strategies based on project needs, location, volume, and technical complexity.
+ Takes ownership of monitoring the budget and proactively informs the Management team of any variances.
+ Develops and presents a commodity strategy.
+ Finalizes contracts with selected suppliers, ensuring commercial and legal terms are properly reviewed.
+ Assist claim management activities
+ Compliance:
+ To ensures compliance with SGRE procurement governance policies and procedures
+ To ensure adherence to country-specific and site-specific regulatory requirements
Tasks:
+ Tender & Contract Management:
+ Selects appropriate manpower suppliers for the tender, considering project requirements, location, volume, and technical complexity.
+ Prepares and issues tenders, ensuring commercial and technical terms are clear.
+ Coordinates with project teams to address any technical supplier inquiries.
+ Reviews tender submissions and requests clarification where needed, conducting both commercial evaluations and assessments against pre-negotiated tariffs.
+ Allocating technical proposals with project teams to confirm the best solution and select the most suitable vendor for the case based on a financial- and technical analysis
+ Negotiates financial terms with contractors, reporting productivity outcomes in OPW.
+ Presents the financial results to project teams and recommends an awarding strategy.
+ Assist the final selection of preferred contractors and communicates the award decisions to suppliers.
+ Leads contract finalization with the selected suppliers.
+ Conducts supplier evaluations and ensures continuous feedback is provided based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
+ Compliance:
+ Verifies that suppliers are qualified for specific External Service Needs (ESN).
+ Ensures the acquisition of all necessary approvals in accordance with SGRE procurement governance policies and procedures
Required Knowledge/ Skills, Education, and Experience
+ Must have minimum 5 years of relevant experience
+ Minimum education required is bachelor’s degree
