All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift** : Day **Location:** AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach **The community** **you’ll** **be caring for:** 401 PALMETTO ST, New Smyrna Beach, 32168 **The role** **you** **’ll** **contribute** **:** The Cardiovascular Invasive Laboratory Specialist Lead, performs, at a technical level, a variety of cardiovascular procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients. Has the latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and takes initiative. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures. Teaches and directs the work of other staff and students as required. Participates in the AdventHealth performance improvement program. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. **The value** **you’ll** **bring to the team:** + Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth's core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork. + Based on regulatory allowable practices at each specially licensed campus facility, proficiently performs effectively in all three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in a diagnostic or therapeutic cardiac laboratory team based on the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals scope of practice or performs effectively in all three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in an electrophysiology laboratory based on the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals scope of practice. + Contributes to overall quality of diagnostic service, and documentation. Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department and holds team members accountable for providing quality care. + Consistently and appropriately problem solves day to day issues. + Assists with smooth patient flow by assuring timely room turn over and prep.
