**Qualifications Summary **Education**** - HS Diploma or equivalent. **Experience** - One year of banking experience required, two years' work experience in retail with one year being direct customer service experience preferred. **Knowledge and Skills ** - Math Skills in order to help customers with their transaction, and balance teller drawer - PC skills (Word, Excel and email); and learn to use the Bank's core system to process teller transactions, look-up customer accounts, and troubleshoot the equipment when problems occur - Read and utilize information from memoranda, instructions, forms, and applications - Write in a clear, concise manner to compose memoranda and complete various bank documents and forms - Interpersonal skills and present information to customers - Observe and understand non-verbal communication - Communication skills via phone and in-person - Follow verbal and written instructions - Manage multiple tasks and respond to job demands and change with poise **General Responsibilities Customer service skills and build rapport and trust with prospective customers are critical to success in the Relationship Banker position. The Relationship Banker position includes opening new accounts, processing teller transaction, upselling additional products or services and acting as a resource for problem solving or education. The Relationship Banker also plays a critical role in ensuring that branch operations adhere to security, compliance and audit standards. **Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities The Relationship Banker's Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:**** Achieves sales goals by identifying and cross-selling products and services beneficial to customers Listen carefully to customers' needs to determine appropriate product and services.
