This is a supervisory job with responsibility for directing, planning and apportioning the work of employees including interviewing, selecting and training, recommending the setting and adjusting of rates of pay and hours of work, coaching and assessing performance, hiring and firing and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policy. This position has responsibility for managing exempt RAN Engineers and professional employees in multiple complex RAN (radio access network), transmission and implementation areas. **Key Roles and Responsibilities:** _-Responsible for a variety of activities for a specialized or large scale area_ _(Southwest Florida and South Florida submarkets)_ _within RAN Engineering. Requires strong knowledge of specialty area or broad knowledge of the organization and operation. Works closely with managers and project team members to assess/meet department goals._ -Plans and organizes work projects, budgets and resources. Assists directors and executive management with implementation, development of strategies, guidelines. Remains current with industry trends/technologies. -Monitors and is responsible for budgets for area of responsibility. Ensures compliance with government regulations and system specifications. May manage RAN engineers with responsibility for the engineering, design, development, test, implementation, maintenance, RF optimization, capacity management, performance management, encryption, and/or troubleshooting of satellite networks and Teleports, including underlying routing. **Job Contribution:** **Education:** Typically a Bachelors degree in Math, Science or Engineering preferred or related fields or equivalent experience. **Experience:** Typically at least 5 years of successful network engineering or related experience. **Supervisory:** Yes. **Environmental Requirements:** This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions. Our Assoc Director-RAN Engineering, earns between $141,300.00-$211,900.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
