We have an outstanding Contract position for anAdditive Manufacturing Technicianto join a leading Company located in theDaytona Beach, FLsurrounding area. ** U.S. Citizenship is required.** The Additive Manufacturing Technician is a dynamic position whose function is to support the 3D printing process for: rapid prototyping, production parts and tooling. Job Responsibilities: + Removing support structures. + Performing secondary finishing operations such as polishing, reaming and straightening. + Prepping machines for operation. + Material changeovers. + 3D Printer operation and day-to-day maintenance. + Parts removal and cleanup. + Maintain the schedule for multiple printers and builds. + Other duties as required to maintain the business continuity. Basic Hiring Criteria: + High School Diploma or Equivalent strongly preferred. + Previous Manufacturing Experience is preferred but not essential . + Strong work ethic and ability to work in a dynamic environment. + Basic knowledge and navigation of MS Office (Excel/Word). + Some level of experience working with your hands. Uses some basic tools(Calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges). + Experience with 3D Metal Printers such as EOS, Phenix/3DS, Concept Laser or SLM. + Metal finishing techniques. + CNC machining and CAD/CAM programming. + Understanding of materials, properties, and laser welding. + Experience with Aerospace and/or Defense industries. + Self-motivated and able to stay on task.
