Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations is seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented intern to join the Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center \(LAIC\) team, a center of excellence for AI that drives innovation and excellence both internally and externally\. As an intern, you will apply critical thinking and problem\-solving skills to analyze and optimize business processes, collaborate with cross\-functional teams, and contribute to the development of innovative AI solutions that drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency\. While working with a supportive team, key intern responsibilities include: • Analyzing and optimizing business processes to enable the effective deployment of AI\-enabled solutions • Contributing to the development of innovative AI solutions that drive business outcomes • Collaborating with cross\-functional teams to drive AI adoption and improve operational efficiency • Working with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements • Prioritizing projects and tasks in a fast\-paced environment • Applying critical thinking and problem\-solving skills to identify opportunities for improvement and address challenges related to AI adoption **Basic Qualifications:** • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a STEM\-related field \(such as Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related disciplines\) • Prior coursework or experience with process improvement, project management or related fields • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and tools • US Citizenship required due to system access **Desired Skills:** • Interest in learning and applying AI\-related concepts and technologies • Basic familiarity with programming languages such as Python or other related languages • Basic experience with project management tools, such as Atlassian Jira or other similar software • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Experience with collaboration and teamwork • Pursuing bachelor’s degree with a graduation date of Fall 2026 through Spring 2027 **Clearance Level:** None **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\. **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
