Foreman for Heavy Timber Bridge Contractor
We're currently accepting applications for working Foreman carpenters for upcoming projects located throughout the United States.
These positions require 65-80 hours per week. Must be able to lift 75lbs throughout the work day, lead a crew of 2-3 other team members, follow detailed plans, operating equipment such as backhoes, track hoes, and forklifts, . This position require year long travel with very few days off for home visits. Swimming is required. This position requires the OSHA 10 hour safety training course within 3 years.
The work is very difficult due to the environment of each bridge location (snake and alligator infested swamps, canals, rivers, mud pits, and streams.)
DFI provides competitive wages plus potential bonuses of up to $10,000 per project, lodging, $30 per day per-diem with an exception of working within 100 miles of DFI Office or from your home addressn(located in Palm Bay, FL), and company transportation.
A clean drivers license is required. No experience necessary
If you are a Construction Superintendent with equipment experience then you would be a good fit.
